Everything is ready for the restyling of Marina Piccola , with the start of the construction site which will change the face of one of the symbolic places of Cagliari .
The start of the works was announced by the mayor Paolo Truzzu via his Facebook page: «The construction site of Piazza Arcipelagi begins: from a disorderly non-place to a usable, equipped and green square , an access point to Marina Piccola and in an intimate relationship with the beach and the sea ."
In the project, a large square overlooking the beach takes shape, which will effectively border the roundabout on Viale Poetto. The palm trees will remain, while another big news will be represented by the presence of the light rail stop .
