Three thefts in quick succession in the early part of yesterday morning. Sacrilegious acts in three churches in Cagliari: Sant'Anna in Stampace, then Sant'Eulalia and Santa Rosalia in the Marina district.

In the collegiate parish of Sant'Anna a Bible was stolen , taken from the pulpit where it remained open and available to all. A camera placed inside the place of worship filmed the moment of the theft. In the church of Sant'Eulalia a Bible, two missals and a lectionary were stolen.

No hypothesis, in the three cases, is excluded. The thefts could arise from the psychological distress of the author but the Satanist trail also emerges, albeit with great caution . Great bitterness and sorrow also in the church of Santa Rosalia, where sacred books of great religious and spiritual value were stolen. The Carabinieri of the heritage protection unit have started the investigations.
