The finishing touches are missing, but even if the Christmas trees that the Municipality of Cagliari had promised for piazza Garibaldi and piazza Italia, in Pirri, have arrived in extremis.

Today the decorations were installed for which the offices of the Department of Productive Activities had organized in time: the announcement, for a value of 50 thousand euros, had been issued in the first half of November. Among the proposals received from companies specialized in the sector, one was the winner: "But then he gave up", explained the councilor Alessandro Sorgia, "we are confident in a quick intervention from the runner-up".

Time continued to flow inexorably and there was no trace of trees in the square. Until today: they appeared.

«You couldn't leave the city of Cagliari without the traditional Christmas trees in piazza Garibaldi and in piazza Italia», says Sorgia today with satisfaction. «We had to overcome technical obstacles», he adds, «but now we can say with great pleasure that the Christmas atmosphere that we are breathing with the lights and with the impressive animation that is crossing the shopping streets has finally been completed with the most important symbol, such as the Christmas tree, which I'm sure will be appreciated by the citizens and the many visitors who will take many photos and many souvenir selfies».
