An argument ended in stabbings : this is what happened during the night in Cagliari , with a 67-year-old homeless man ending up arrested for aggravated injuries .

The man, already known to the police, attacked a 65-year-old pensioner near the pedestrian gate of the latter's house . The attack was based on the probable refusal of the victim to temporarily welcome the man into his home .

The victim was hit on the left wrist with a 20 cm long kitchen knife , which was later found by the police who promptly intervened and alerted by a witness who witnessed the scene.

The injured man was then transported to the Brotzu emergency room, where he was diagnosed with a wound with a prognosis of more than 20 days , the legal deadline for considering injuries of an aggravated nature.

The arrested person was taken to the offices of the Carabinieri provincial command in Cagliari and spent the night in the security rooms awaiting trial in a very direct trial, scheduled for today.
