Race against time to put up the tents that will house the classrooms around the primary school in via Stockholma in Cagliari , which is still unusable .

Last night the tent was dismantled which served as a test to verify the position of the desks, blackboard and teacher's desk. In these hours the municipality technicians are dismantling a fence and posts around the football field : this will be the area in which the ten tents will be placed which will house the almost 200 primary school pupils .

In the meantime, however, many parents are looking around : faced with the prospect of the emergency situation , many could enroll their children in other schools such as those in via Garavetti or via Castiglione . However, we don't like the solution proposed by the Municipality, that of the Stagno school in via Cadello. A location considered too far from the Genneruxi district.

«The situation was known - explains Pino Aquila, president of the Institute Council - they are demonstrating that students and parents are once again in last place ». Deputy mayor Giorgio Angius replies: «The real problems arose along the way when the technicians realised, during interventions, that some parts were at risk of collapse. We respect the choice of the council and of families who may want to change schools. But we reiterate that, should you change your mind, the Stagno school continues to be available. You could also think about shuttle buses. In the meantime, however, we continue to set up the tents which should be ready between today and tomorrow, then it will be the turn of the furnishings. We are ready to host the regular start of lessons on Monday morning and to also intervene with assistance and satisfy the needs of the students also in the following days".
