Stop (for now) to the construction sites on Viale Diaz. The long-awaited start of work on the subway line stops before it even gets going. The Municipality today announced the revocation of the ordinance that provided for the narrowing of the carriageway in both directions, in the section between Via della Stazione Vecchia and Viale Bonaria.

The reason? A request for a postponement by the company in charge, which asked to reschedule the intervention. A cold shower for citizens and motorists who have already had to deal with traffic inconveniences , and for those who have been waiting for a long time now for the start of a strategic work for urban mobility.

The measure was formalized with the executive order number 850/2025 of the Mobility, Infrastructure and Networks Service. No new date has been announced yet: everything has been postponed to a date to be determined.
