The opening of the "bridge of sighs" of San Bartolomeo has allowed thousands of Cagliaritans to discover the Sant'Elia seafront, one of the most enchanting corners of the city. The Gulf of Angels is hurt, however, by the vandalized municipal kiosks. Places razed to the ground by the usual unknown persons. The structures are also abandoned because the Municipality was unable to complete the tender for their management.

The race is also blocked for the village's marina. To complete the scenario, the blocked walk that goes from the Ichnusa pier to Su Siccu: the delivery of the work is late

The destruction

Walls smeared or blackened by fires, windows smashed and interiors transformed into garbage dumps. This is what remains of the kiosks built by the Municipality. Public money will be needed to fix them.

Covered up jobs

The construction of the marina, however, has been at a standstill for a year and to complete the work, parking lots, docks and dredging are still missing, a fundamental operation to stem the shallows caused by sea currents. The company interrupted the construction of the marina because the Region did not adjust the tariff to the post-Covid prices of the sheet piles (barriers that prevent the inflow of water) used for the construction of the docks. He won the appeal to the TAR but everything is at a standstill in Palazzo Bacaredda waiting for the new council.
