In the packages he was ready to send from a Cagliari shop there was actually some drugs. This was discovered by the Carabinieri of Monserrato who arrested a 49-year-old from Selargius domiciled in the capital.

The man, the subject of a stalking service, was checked while preparing the shipment and was found in possession of 340 grams of marijuana and 68 of hashish, all hidden inside the packages.

In a subsequent personal and home search, 1.8 kg of marijuana were also recovered, partially divided into doses, 2.11 kg of hashish, a precision slingbar, various materials for cutting and packaging the drug.

The 49-year-old was accompanied to the Uta prison, pending the validation hearing.
