The 33-year-old resident of Pesaro, originally from Eastern Europe, was acquitted with full formula by the court of Cagliari, who ended up in trial on charges of having solicited a Sardinian boy through a dating site.

"The fact does not exist" decreed the judges. The defendant's version has always been one: he was convinced that he was chatting with an adult and not with a minor.

The story began in 2019. The man was using a dating site when he contacted an interlocutor. According to the allegations, she sent him pictures of naked women and then pushed him to send pictures of her private parts. It was the father of the 13-year-old Sardinian who discovered everything and filed a complaint.

During a search at the 33-year-old's home, his cell phone and computer were seized. The Public Prosecutor's Office, which was investigating for possession of child pornography, soliciting minors and sexual violence, had asked for two years in prison. The man was defended by the lawyer Matteo Mattioli.
