The works have just been awarded and the Municipality of Cagliari is already late. The redevelopment of Villa Muscas, in the heart of San Benedetto in Cagliari, has been entrusted to Cgp Srl of viale Poetto : the space which has ended up in decline between the Opera House and the Conservatory is on paper destined to become a music district, as a branch of the Center Experimental Cinematography Institute of Rome.

The award was signed today. The regional funding was 2 million euros, the winning company's proposal amounts to approximately one (net of variations and setbacks).

The procedure was announced in December last year. But in the documents of the municipal offices (Public Works) we read that "according to what is foreseen in the timetable, the delivery of the works is already behind schedule". Further delays "would result in the loss of regional funding, with costs being attributed to the municipal budget". Thus "in order to avoid serious financial damage being caused to the organisation, we intend to proceed with the assumption of the accounting commitment".
