Agreement between Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and the President of the Region Alessandra Todde for the allocation of over three billion euros of the Development and Cohesion Fund to Sardinia.

The Prime Minister arrived in Cagliari ( VIDEO ), for the signing at Palazzo Regio . With her, Raffaele Fitto , Minister for European Affairs and recently appointed Vice President of the European Commission.

Together with Todde, also present were the councilors of the Regional Council . Also present at the meeting were the mayor of Cagliari Massimo Zedda , the president of the Anci Daniela Falconi and the group leaders of the Regional Council.

At the center of the meeting, the agreement for development and cohesion but not only. Before the signing, the President of the Council Giorgia Meloni made a passage on the nomination of Raffaele Fitto as European Commissioner with delegation, among other things, on the islands.

A very important thing «also for Sardinia, especially considering the long-standing question of territorial continuity» .

Governor Alessandra Todde illustrated the terms of the agreement ( VIDEO OF THE SIGNATURE ) which is worth 3.5 billion including co-financing from the Region. "When there is loyal collaboration you can see it, today is a truly important moment".

As for the works, the priorities indicated for the almost 300 interventions planned concern five macro-areas: environment, transport, home, school, university and health.
