The Carabinieri intervened this morning in Viale Marconi in Cagliari, where a 37-year-old from Selargius , unemployed and already known to the police, was arrested after stealing items of clothing from a shop with a total value of approximately 200 euros .

The man, who then fled , was tracked down by the military a short distance from the site of the theft and still in possession of the stolen goods, which were later returned to the owners of the business.
The 37-year-old was taken to court in Cagliari to be tried under a fast-track procedure , as ordered by the Judicial Authority.
