He had a buyer ready to spend one million and 350 thousand euros, but because of the infiltrations he was unable to sell his apartment. Now the Municipality of Cagliari is forced to pay. Because those streams of water on the walls of the house in Piazza del Carmine, owned by PA, came from Palazzo Pitzorno-Binaghi, a historic building owned by the administration - also known as Palazzo Caide - surrounded by scaffolding for decades and recently renovated.

The lawyers of Palazzo Bacaredda and those of the private individual who was unable to close the deal by making the property profitable have reached a settlement agreement: the Municipality will pay 130 thousand euros as compensation, given that the risk of losing the case was high. The potential buyer was also heard in court, and he confirmed: yes, he would have bought for over 1.3 million, if it hadn't been for those infiltrations.

The compensation sum is not the only one that ended up in the pockets of the Municipality's neighbor: over the years, always because of the infiltrations, the Municipality had already paid over 16 thousand euros to cover the damages complained of by Mr. PA Who now has a brand new building next door, no more water on the walls, a good amount of money for the inconvenience suffered and the property, of value, which can be put back on the market.
