An extraordinary, “high impact” territorial control service has been underway since dawn in the Sant'Elia district of Cagliari, aimed at preventing and combating illegality.

The crackdown was decided at the meeting of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety held in the Prefecture on March 5 and the modalities of which were defined in the subsequent technical table of the Police Chief.

The inter-force service is carried out by agents of the State Police, military personnel of the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza, with the collaboration of the Local Police of Cagliari.

Also this morning, Mayor Massimo Zedda met with residents at Lazzaretto to present the neighborhood's redevelopment project .
