A forty-seven-year-old from Cagliari ended up in prison, arrested at dawn today by the Carabinieri of the Cagliari Villanova Station on the orders of the investigating judge, who ordered the revocation of the mildest precautionary measure and the transfer to prison for repeated violations.

The man, unemployed, had already been under house arrest for several months, but despite the prohibition to leave the house, he had broken the rules several times. The episode that triggered the harshest measure dates back to May 7, when the military surprised him on the street while he was following his ex-partner.

The woman, who had reported him for a long series of assaults and violent behavior, was rescued and taken to the emergency room to receive the necessary treatment.

The recidivism of the act and the real danger of new episodes convinced the judge to increase the precautionary measure. This morning the man was found in his home, arrested and accompanied to the prison of Uta.
