Cagliari, fire at the former Cao furniture factory: smoke visible from across the city

  A large fire broke out today in Cagliari, in via S.   Rocco, inside the former Cao furniture factory, in the area above Via Bacaredda. The flames quickly engulfed the building, generating a thick column of black smoke visible from several neighborhoods across the city.

Firefighters responded to the scene, engaged in extinguishing and securing the area, along with local police, who cordoned off the area to allow rescue operations. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and no injuries have been reported.
