Cagliari, corpse on the stairs of a building in Sant'Avendrace

Drama this morning in via Temo, in the Sant'Avendrace district in Cagliari : a man was found dead in the internal stairs of a building at number 9. Some of the rooms in the building are part of a B&B. He is a 45-year-old Algerian citizen who has been in the city for some time.

Two clients discovered the body: no signs of violence were found upon the arrival of the rescuers, even if there were a few drops of blood on the ground.

The most probable hypothesis, at the moment, is that the victim was seized by a sudden illness from an overdose. But to have certainties and to reconstruct the exact dynamics it will be necessary to wait for the outcome of a first examination by the coroner. On the spot the carabinieri of the provincial investigative unit, with the colleagues of the Ris.

The road was closed to traffic.
