Cagliari, CGIL and UIL in the square. Landini: «Prisoning is an attack on people's freedom»
The unions have called the Sardinians together: «The island has many more reasons to strike»«We are here to change the financial law ». Thus the general secretary of the CGIL , Maurizio Landini , this morning in Cagliari together with the national organizational secretary of the Uil , Emanuele Ronzoni , to demonstrate against the Meloni Government's budget law and contest the precept of Minister Salvini.
«We challenged the injunction provision with the Uil because it is an authoritarian and anti-democratic fact – Landini then added – it has never happened in the democratic history of this country that a government thinks it can undermine the right to strike, which is not trade union organizations but of individuals, attacking him means limiting people's freedom."
Already early in the morning , Piazzale Trento began to turn red and blue with the flags of the CGIL and UIL who proclaimed a general strike and called the Sardinians together.
« Sardinia has many more reasons to strike - said the secretary of the Sardinian CGIL Fausto Durante -. We are here to change the Government's maneuvers which will do nothing to overcome the great emergency that the country is experiencing. But Sardinia is also in the streets to highlight the right to strike and ensure that the world of work is adequately considered."
The number one of Uil Sardegna Francesca Ticca reiterates the concept: «There is a very evident de-industrialisation and this blocks our idea of development. We cannot talk about active policies for work, about a real and happy economic recovery if the industrial system does not restart ."
