A 34-year-old Senegalese arrested by the Cagliari police on charges of aggravated theft.

The man was surprised by an Army patrol in via Timavo, while he was rummaging inside a car owned by a sixty-year-old .

In the subsequent search, the military found him in possession of a pouch containing a health card which had been stolen a few days ago from a 42-year-old from Cagliari, a residence permit in the name of a 21-year-old from his compatriot, a leather bag containing 140 euros and a switchblade.

Arrested, he was placed under house arrest. He will also have to answer for receiving and illegally carrying objects capable of offending.
