The carcass of the small car set on fire on the night between 16 and 17 February, which for three weeks had made transit on the acceleration lane of 554, shortly after the Holiday Inn, dangerous, has been removed.

The fire had been put out by firefighters. According to some testimonies, the vehicle had already been in that spot for a few days when someone decided to destroy it with flames. The owner was untraceable. So until yesterday the car, or the mass of sheet metal that remained of it, remained there, in a point dangerous for traffic.

The reports have multiplied and now in its place there is only a stretch of blackened asphalt: the road system is safe again.
