Difficult moments to manage when you find yourself in front of a man barricaded in the house who threatens to blow everything up with gas and, when the danger is back, even the gesture of buying food and drinks for a man in enormous difficulty. It happened to Marshal Carmine Mobilia and deputy brigadier Pierpaolo Ghiani, of the Sant'Avendrace station, who intervened in the Cagliari district of San Michele a few days ago for a very delicate situation: “A man desperate because without food and without water he wanted to end it all. We immediately talked to him and through dialogue we won his trust ”, says Mobilia.

The firefighters, with their equipment, checked that the house was not saturated with gas while the military continued in dialogue. “It took more than 40 minutes to get him to open. In this way we have avoided, always operating in maximum safety, a provision like a tso, managing to manage the situation with a dialogue ”, continues the marshal. An intervention coordinated with the operations center and with the collaboration of the carabinieri of the Radiomobile nucleus, all under the supervision of the commander of the Cagliari company, Emanuele Macrì.

The two military protagonists, Mobilia and Ghiani, then "took off" the police uniform to wear the clothes of the common citizen and of their own free will decided to buy food for that man, a 64-year-old with a disability pension miserable, desperate: “My colleague Ghiani went shopping. Something to allow this person to spend a few days in greater serenity ”.
