The Municipality of Cagliari has dismantled an illegal workshop in Piazza Medaglia Miracolosa.
This morning, under the supervision of urban ecology, environmental, and public green space technicians, "and in compliance with a management order," City Hall explained, "the delicate demolition of a structure constructed without official permits, which had compromised the public use of the space, was completed. A rodent control program was also carried out."
The project is part of a municipal strategy aimed at restoring urban decorum and ensuring the safety of residents and visitors. The demolition was carried out without incident.
Mayor Massimo Zedda explains: "We have initiated a series of demolitions of illegal structures thanks to the fruitful collaboration between municipal services and law enforcement. Our primary objective is to restore decorum and safety to the neighborhoods, intervening promptly to protect the hygiene and tranquility of residents, especially in the most problematic areas prone to illegal construction and urban decay," the mayor concludes.
This morning's operation, a statement added, "is part of a broader plan of interventions aimed at regenerating compromised urban areas , with the goal of strengthening a sense of community and respect for the rules."
