After 11 days, three earlier than expected for the end of the works, via Galvani reopens . Cagliari, 2.30 pm: the main traffic hub for cars entering the city from Quartu, Quartucciu, Selargius and Monserrato, and those reaching the hinterland from Cagliari, is open again. Goodbye to the queues that accompanied the traffic at all hours in Viale Marconi, from San Benedetto to the section under the Median Axis, which became the main access route for those who had to reach the Arginale and then head to Quartu.

The only problem is the "failure to synchronize the traffic lights in Viale Marconi at the intersection with Via Galvani" , warns a young motorist in a small car. «The traffic light that allows you to turn left into via Galvani from viale Marconi is not on, whereas before the start of the works it was regularly active».

Disoriented, many motorists reach the intersection between viale Marconi and via Galvani and stop in the middle to let the cars passing from via San Benedetto down onto viale Marconi , waiting to be able to turn left. A dangerous maneuver because the cars arrive at high speed. Judging by how the traffic lights are lit at the moment, turning left for those arriving from viale Marconi and intending to enter via Galvani (and from here reach the Genneruxi district or the Arginale, passing through via Mercalli) is not permitted. . But it seems more like an oversight than a choice.
