"That plant, in my opinion, isn't right there." A thirty-year-old man who crashed into a tree in the central reservation on Viale Poetto, before the Marina Piccola roundabout, seems a bit of a botched attempt at an explanation.

The accident occurred around 7:30 am and fortunately no one suffered serious physical injuries.

The driver, who was driving a Punto, refused ambulance transport. He even attempted to claim that he had fallen asleep at the wheel due to fatigue. But the true reasons for his loss of control may lie in the results of the breathalyzer test he underwent: local police officers and firefighters also arrived on Viale Poetto and cleared the roadway.
