A firecracker thrown during the night on the asphalt in via Lamarmora in Cagliari, a few steps from the headquarters of the Chenàbura-Sardos pro Israel association. The alarm was raised: no damage, but the noise of the explosion woke up the residents of the narrow street in the Castello neighborhood.
The investigations by the Digos are underway, to try to reconstruct what happened. There are no witnesses: they are trying to understand if the explosion of the firecracker can be traced back to the presence of the association's headquarters in the neighborhood .
Last September, the entrance gate and the glass door of Chenàbura, which also houses the Jewish museum, were daubed with red paint. And a sign appeared: «A fora is sionistas» (Zionists out). The Chenàbura-Sardos pro Israel association is a meeting place for the local Jewish community .
