A road accident occurred this afternoon on the 131 DC state road towards Olbia in the section between Budoni and San Teodoro.
Around 3.15 pm a car, for reasons under investigation, overturned on itself, crashing into the guard rail.
The occupants, a married couple from Olbia, were trapped in the passenger compartment and the intervention of the 14A team of the Fire Brigade of the San Teodoro Summer Detachment was necessary to extract them.
Also on site were two basic units of the 118 ambulances from Budoni and La Caletta, which transported the wounded to the John Paul II hospital in Olbia, but the conditions of both, at the time of the rescue, were not serious . The road remained closed to traffic to allow the Fire Brigade to make the vehicle safe.
