Brutal assault in Alghero: a young man beaten and robbed. Two arrests
The two men, already known to the police, tracked down in Tula while trying to withdraw cash with the cards stolen from the victim

A young man from Alghero was attacked and robbed and two people were arrested.
The scene that several witnesses found themselves in front of was terrible . On Friday morning, in a secondary street of Alghero , they saw a man on the ground with a bloody face and two attackers kicked and punched him, so much so that his spleen was smashed, taking away his wallet - with documents, credit cards and money -, and some drugs . Finally they fled in a light blue car. It was this detail that was important in the reconstruction of the affair which led yesterday afternoon to the arrest of two offenders accused of robbery in competition and very serious injuries . I am a 42 year old and a 33 year old.
The carabinieri had arrived on the spot within minutes after receiving the request for intervention by telephone. In the meantime, the two men had lost track of them but they committed a misstep : they attempted , succeeding in some cases, to withdraw cash through the stolen cards . It was thus possible to trace them to Tula . And from the discovery of various pieces of luggage in the car, it is clear that they were also thinking of leaving the island.
The boy attacked was hospitalized with a reserved prognosis, and underwent surgery in which his spleen was removed.
