Brotzu remains closed. The causes of the fault prior to the blackout that shut down Sardinia's main hospital on Saturday evening have been discovered and repairs have been carried out. But the Arnas leaders want to be on the safe side: no hospitalizations until tomorrow at 9pm, so the doors of the emergency room are also barred. Tomorrow will be necessary to monitor the tightness of the systems after the intervention carried out today. In the event of a positive picture, the reopening could also be brought forward.

It remains to be understood, however, why only two out of three generators were expected after the tilt and the system did not hold up.

Meanwhile, another day of passion for healthcare in Cagliari (and beyond) is awaited. In the last week the general director, Agnese Foddis, had sent some communications, addressed to the president of the Region, Alessandra Todde, to her health councilor Armando Bartolazzi, and to all the general managers of the Sardinian health companies: the objective was to communicate the exhaustion of beds, due to the closure of departments in numerous hospitals in Sardinia.
