The Forestry Corps responded to the scene with the support of helicopters and Canadairs. Six aircraft were on site : three helicopters from the Anela, Bosa, and Sorgono bases, two Super Pumas from Alà dei Sardi and Fenosu, and two Canadairs. A third Canadair had been requested, but it broke down and was unable to reach the area . Another Canadair has now been requested, and specialists from the Forestry Corps' GAUF group are also on board the helicopters for firefighting operations.
The Forestry Corps also responded, with the support of a helicopter from the Sorgono operations base, to a fire in the Teti area in the Istei area. Another helicopter from the Limbara base responded to the Padru countryside in the Rio Sas Ranchidas area. A fire also broke out in Quartu , in the Santu Lianu area, where two helicopters from the Villasalto and Pula bases responded. A helicopter also responded to a fire in the Guspini countryside in the Nuraci area. Another fire broke out in Cabras in the Su Furraghe area.
