From the first light of dawn, the search for the boat that had been lost in the sea off the coast of Teulada resumed at full capacity.

On board were Gianmarco Murgia, 64 years old from Giba , and his 34-year-old daughter Valentina, resident in Germany.

The two had left the Porto Pino pier for a fishing trip on the five-meter boat in the afternoon two days ago. Late in the evening they did not return and Murgia's son-in-law, husband of Valentina's sister, triggered the rescue car alerting the Port Authority.

Since yesterday morning, a large stretch of sea has been hit by Coast Guard patrol boats and helicopters, to which in the afternoon there was also an aircraft generally used in the Frontex mission.

Meanwhile, the carabinieri have carried out ground reconnaissance. But no trace of the boat and its occupants.

The searches continued even during the night , with the help of technological systems supplied to the military of the Capitaneria. But the sunrise was expected to deploy all the means available.
