Big fire in the Serdiana countryside .

The flames broke out in the Friesland area, developing among the stubble and weeds and then attacking tall trees, including olive trees .

The alarm went off at around 1.30 pm with the arrival of the forestry workers from the Dolianova station, the fire brigade and the Masise volunteers.

A helicopter was also called in and carried out dozens of launches.

Serious damage : around 4 pm the fire was tamed, then the inspection began to establish the causes of the fire and to quantify the consequences.
