A 61-year-old man from Berchidda was treated by a local doctor for about an hour. He was then intubated and transported by air ambulance to the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari.

The episode took place at the end of the first category match between Berchidda and San Nicola di Ozieri, which finished 1-0 for the Gallurese.

The sixty-one year old is now hospitalized in the intensive care unit, under close supervision by the doctors who have reserved the prognosis for now .
