The carabinieri of the Olbia Radiomobile Section and of the Berchidda Station intervened during the night to try to calm a man who was trying to obstruct the rescue operations from 118 to his father who needed medical assistance.
The ambulance doctors requested the intervention of 112. At the sight of the military, the man reacted in the worst way: he brandished a kitchen knife and began to threaten them.
Eventually the men of the weapon managed to disarm him and immobilize him. At that point, however, he too fell ill. For this he was transported to the emergency room at the Olbia hospital for checks.
At the end of the medical checks, in light of what happened, he was arrested.
