Tragedy this morning in Badesi , near the beach.
Two women were hit by an SUV near the parking lot on Li Junchi beach, in the northern Sardinian town. One was killed, the other was injured.
A man driving an Audi Q5 for reasons yet to be ascertained lost control of the vehicle and collided with five parked vehicles: next to one of these were the two women hit , intent on unloading the trunk. Fernanda Leonardi, 75 years old from Oleggio (Novara), died, the other, a 73 year old from Cagliari, ended up in hospital at the Santissima Annunziata in Sassari.
On site the carabinieri, the helicopter rescue and a 118 ambulance coming from Valledoria.
