The amount that the municipality of Badesi has decided to put in place for the safety of about 400 meters of the Lu Junchi promenade from hydraulic risk is almost 868 thousand euros.

“An important project for our community given the link we have with our sea and the promenade”, declared the mayor, Gian Mario Mamia.

"I would also like to specify - he continued - that the road that runs along the seafront will be closed only to be able to carry out the work safely, then it will be reopened and the flow of traffic will be as regular as before".

Some changes will be made to the sidewalk while the roundabout at the end of the promenade will be eliminated in order, the mayor stresses, "to leave free rein to the river in the event of exceptional atmospheric events which unfortunately we are getting used to".

In addition, the unpaved square will be paved and the signs and sub-services for commercial activities will be positioned. Finally, showers will be placed on the beach every 50 meters, while benches will be positioned in place of the wall.

Also on the seafront, the municipal swimming pool will be brought up to standard and reopened.
