Four people - including a minor of just 14 years - held responsible for threats and attempted assaults on a referee and hit by as many Daspo issued by the Quaestor of Sassari .

The facts date back to last October 23 , during a football match between the formations of the ASD Academy Latte Dolce and Alghero Calcio, valid for the "U17 Regional Students" championship.

On the occasion, the father of one of the players had started to insult and threaten the referee heavily for some alleged wrong decisions made during the match.

But the situation has deteriorated further. The police station writes: «The man had then confronted an observer from the Italian referees' association (Emanuele Fresi, ed), also in the stands, who, to protect the match director, had taken some photos to document what happened . On this occasion he had threatened and yanked him, almost making him lose his balance, exposing him to the risk of a disastrous fall from the bleachers, also trying to take possession of his cell phone with which the shots had been taken. The observer, in an attempt to get away, was immediately reached and surrounded outside the stadium by about fifteen supporters, with a hostile attitude ; while a man was trying to attack the victim, a young man tried to punch him in the face, but the observer managed to dodge them due to his quick reflexes. The group of troublemakers left shortly before the intervention of the police ».

After the incident, the men from the Police Headquarters - DIGOS and the Anti-Crime Police Division carried out investigations - began investigations and, based on the testimonies and video images, managed to identify four people affected by the measure.

As mentioned, it concerns the father - from Sassari - a player, his son, another parent, from Porto Torres, and a young athlete.

On the basis of the Daspo issued by the Quaestor, "the prohibition, for the prescribed duration (two years for the Sassarese, one for the others, ed), has been ordered for everyone to access places where football sporting events are held , including friendly matches , played, even abroad, by the Italian national teams, by the teams that play in the various professional, semi-professional and amateur football championships».

Finally, during the day of the competitions, access to or stopping at all places involved in the stop, transit or transport of those participating in or attending the competitions was prohibited.
