There could be two bandits injured in the attack on armored vehicles which took place on January 31st on State Road 131 at the Siligo crossroads, which resulted in a loot of 4 million euros.

A robber would have suffered heavy bruises in the impact between the eco-compactor used to block traffic and one of the armored cars , which rammed him. Another may have been hit by one of the crazed vehicles when all hell broke loose. Both may need treatment. And it is also on this that the investigators working to trace the identity of the members of the commando, made up of criminals who are certainly not improvised, are counting on.

And while the investigations continue, the security guards protest: four were injured in the latest robbery. «There are over sixty thousand vigilantes in Italy who are not sufficiently protected. It's a slaughterhouse, as far as we're concerned the time for mobilization has come", says the national secretary of the private security sector of Fesica Confsal, Lorenzo Tramaglino.

«In the security vans there are also 5-6 million euros at a time and no police escort cars side by side. The armored vehicle is classified as a civilian vehicle, so it cannot even break the highway code in the event of extreme situations", reports Tramaglino.

«This "wild west" is destined to procrastinate as the assault techniques become increasingly military and dangerous and not only the security guard can end up in tragedy, but also whoever is nearby at the time».

The security guards feel abandoned to their fate: «It is a problem that concerns everyone, but the State often forgets about it, or simply stigmatizes the issue , leaving the security guard in the great slaughterhouse of assaults for a thousand euros a month», concludes the secretary Fesica Confsal.
