Assemini, "strange smells" from the attic: the grandmother is unaware, but the grandson hides 24 kg of marijuana
The police arrested a 29-year-old, with no criminal record and who lived with his 90-year-old elderly relative. What betrays him is a standard of living that is too high for his possibilities

An apparently normal 29-year-old young man, with no criminal record, who lived in Assemini with his ninety-year-old grandmother.
But his standard of living was a little too over the top and the police soon began to suspect that he was at the center of a profitable but illegal activity: drug dealing.
For this reason, the soldiers of the local station and those of the Cagliari Company started an inspection of the house. And they were immediately struck by the strong smell of cannabis coming from a ceiling, a smell that the elderly grandmother, unaware of everything, couldn't understand.
During the search, almost 24 kg of marijuana turned up, hidden or kept to dry in the attic.
In detail: 560 grams of flowering marijuana, 540 grams of the same crushed substance, as well as approximately 230 cannabis buds with inflorescences.
The 29-year-old was thus arrested for possession with the aim of dealing drugs, with investigations now continuing to ascertain the origin of the drugs intended for sale.
