Pierpaolo Scanu, the 56-year-old mathematics teacher who was attacked by the father of one of his students yesterday morning at the Arbus hotel institute, was discharged overnight from the San Gavino Monreale hospital.

For him a prognosis of 15 days . The teacher received a headbutt in the face from the father of one of his students who he had scolded for disturbing the lesson by chatting with his classmates.

The attack, the police reconstructed, took place inside the school. The student, reprimanded, responded to the teacher and then left the classroom calling his father. Pierpaolo Scanu left the classroom to look for him in the corridors, where he met the pupil's father who immediately attacked him with a headbutt in the face .

Parent and son left, the Carabinieri from the Arbus station and the 118 who took the injured man to hospital were on site. The student's father also went to the emergency room, but the doctors discharged him immediately without any prognosis. The man risks being sued for injuries, interruption of public service, violence and threats to a public official .
