The Cagliari Public Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation into the botulism poisoning that occurred last week during the "Fiesta Latina" in Monserrato, which then spread to Ogliastra, where it was stopped by the mayor of Tortolì, Marcello Ladu. One person has already been placed under investigation: Christian Gustavo Vincenti, owner of the Argentinean kiosk where the contaminated products were consumed.

The prosecutor's investigation involves the crimes of negligent injury and trafficking in harmful food substances. The case has been entrusted to the public prosecutor on duty, Deputy Prosecutor Gian Giacomo Pilia.

At the same time, on the administrative front, the Ogliastra Local Health Authority (ASL) ordered the seizure of several packages of churrascos, which also contained guacamole, a food that is attracting the attention of health investigators.
