The port tractors are not working and the semi-trailers ready to be unloaded at the Arbatax port continue their journey in the garage of the ferry bound for Cagliari.

The Grimaldi ship left Civitavecchia yesterday evening and landed at dawn today in the Ogliastra port.

But it was not possible to carry out the operations because the terminal tractors were on tilt.

"We had to go to Cagliari to get the semi-trailers," says Rossano Murru, a haulier from Tertenia, who had some loads delivered in the area.

The drivers of Murru Trasporti had to grind twice as many kilometers to reach Cagliari with the tractors and hook up the semi-trailers with loads of materials destined for commercial activities in the Ogliastra area.

"It is an uncomfortable situation that is often repeated and which penalizes our category," adds Murru. The trade associations are also monitoring the Arbatax case, ready to request a meeting with the top management of the company that manages the goods handling service in the port area.
