The Leonardo pontoon left today with the 42 meter hull produced in the Ferretti shipyard in Arbatax on board. It is headed to Ancona, where the fittings will be completed. The loading operations began yesterday, the day scheduled for departure, which was then canceled due to the north wind which prevented the pontoon from entering the port.

The loading operations were handled by Air Ocean Cargo, the company in charge of logistics in the port, which deployed a team of seven operators for the occasion. The hull was built entirely in the Ferretti shipyards, an international nautical giant which, since last year, has been established in the industrial area of Baccasara.

Here, between direct and external companies, around a hundred people find employment. Confirming that the sector is in good health and the growth margins in the area are notable. Other deliveries will take place shortly. For all operators in the sector, despite the amount of work and the orders that fill their wallets, one unknown remains: finding qualified manpower.
