Anglona says no to agrivoltaics without planning and consultation with local communities. During a meeting organized in Martis, environmentalists, municipal administrators and farmers announced a territorial dispute against the indiscriminate use of agricultural areas.

The choice to hold the meeting in Martis (in the multipurpose center Vincenzo Migaleddu) has a precise reason. The country's territory is interested (together with Chiaramonti and Tula) in a project for an agrivoltaic station on an area of 84 hectares, with a power of 39 megawatts. We are talking about photovoltaic modules, electrical lines connecting to the national grid, roads, a collection cabin, a new electrical station, excavations, roads and cable ducts, all in the agricultural area.

Mauro Gargiulo, of Italia Nostra Sardegna, reported that the project involves interventions close to the archaeological site of the domus de janas of Su Murrone and the petrified forest of Carrucana. The Municipality of Martis and the Region are opposing with observations. A line confirmed by mayor Tiziano Lasia.

Representatives of the Anti-Speculation Coordination, Agostino Peru, Laura Cadeddu and Maria Grazia Demontis participated.
