Alghero, the Democratic Party chooses Mario Salis as mayoral candidate: proposal being examined by allies

The city management extended to the assembly of PD members, approved by acclamation the proposal of Mario Salis for the position of mayor of Alghero , a name that will land on the table of Campo Largo.

The Dems, therefore, decided to break the silence and make the hypothesis of Salis, a doctor specialized in dentistry, leader of the Democratic Party and a well-known face in the city, available to the coalition.

Furthermore, the city secretary Enrico Daga and the president of the Assembly Mimmo Pirisi have been given the task of continuing to dialogue with the parties and movements of the center to close the negotiations: Reformers of Alghero, Noi con Alghero, Psd'Az and Sardegna al Centro 2020 who have broken with the center-right and are approaching Campo Largo.
