Alghero, the census of Tari users is under way

The census of Tari, private and commercial users is underway. This was announced by the Municipality of Alghero which has already achieved important goals in terms of waste separation, exceeding 70 percent. "But now we have to make a further effort to allow the Administration to start all the preparatory procedures for calculating the Tari in a timely manner", writes the manager of the service Michele Fois.

From Monday 13 February two operators from Alghero Ambiente, the consortium company appointed by Ciclat to carry out the urban hygiene service in Alghero, will visit, equipped with a special identification card, all private and commercial users to carry out a census of the tubs and of the roundups, identifiable thanks to the codes and chips contained in them, thus correcting any errors present.

"In everyone's interest, citizens are therefore asked to collaborate to facilitate the collection operations - continues the manager - This will make it possible to monitor the actual contributions, in particular of the undifferentiated dry fraction, allowing the operators in charge of the collection to memorize the use of the service through a bracelet capable of reading the chip by simply approaching the containers and, subsequently, transferring the data to a centralized system, which will be the primary source for defining the fee to be paid in the future. Basically, the better it differs, the less dry it is produced, the less it pays”.
