Armed robbery this morning, around 7:30, at the Agip-Eni petrol station on Via Vittorio Emanuele in Alghero. Two hooded men threatened the manager with a knife, making him hand over the proceeds from the automatic dispenser. One threatened the man with the blade, the other snatched his wallet. Both then fled towards Via Botticelli.

The alarm was raised immediately and the Carabinieri of Alghero arrived, who allegedly stopped a person who later turned out not to be involved in the facts . According to initial estimates, the loot is around 30 thousand euros.

According to an initial reconstruction, the two had the manager under surveillance. It seems that they knew that the man had the money with him at that moment. They waited for him to leave the station and hooked him up inside the distributor area. The military from the barracks on via Don Minzoni are on the trail of the criminals, probably from the area.
