Alghero, children replace the "stolen" sand on Mugoni beach

Special lesson for the young students of the Alghero schools who participated in the environmental education activity promoted by the Ceas of the Porto Conte Park and the Capo Caccia-Isola Piana Marine Protected Area, with the officials of the Customs and Monopolies Agency .

Pupils and teachers placed the sand stolen illegally by holidaymakers and recovered at the airports thanks to the work of the Adm on Mugoni beach. The awareness-raising activity is the result of the memorandum of understanding signed last year between the two entities for the protection of the territory, and in particular for the return of marine finds taken from the beaches to which they belong and seized by Adm personnel during the activity control of travelers departing from the Alghero airport.

During the morning, the staff of Ceas Porto Conte, in addition to coordinating the relocation operations, also illustrated some of the peculiarities of our sea to the young students.
