Moments of fear in via Cherso, in the heart of Fertilia, where the Alghero firefighters intervened due to the partial collapse of the attic of a two-story building.
The collapse affected the roof of an uninhabited apartment, on the second floor of the building, located at the intersection with the Rovigo seafront.
The 115 teams intervened at 6.45 pm following a report from people living on the ground floor of the building, tenants who were immediately evacuated and hosted in a reception facility, while waiting for the safety and inspection operations to be concluded to assess the stability and conditions of the building.
The house where the collapse occurred has some structural issues with the risk of collapse in the roof. No one was injured.
Also on site were local police officers and commander Salvatore Masala, who immediately informed mayor Raimondo Cacciotto.
