A team of firefighters from the Cagliari operations center intervened on Saturday morning in the industrial area of Macchiareddu, in the municipality of Assemini, for a fire that broke out in a warehouse of the Bonucci and Turconi company, where cellulose-derived materials are processed.

A team of Firefighters from the Cagliari command intervened on site with the support of 2 fire engines, the ladder truck and the self-protecting vehicle.
The fire, which started for reasons yet to be ascertained, affected the external area of the warehouse.
The teams that intervened on site have cordoned off the area affected by the fire and clean-up operations are underway.
Inside the warehouse there was a company employee, a 70-year-old man, who got stuck in a forklift.

The 115 team took steps to rescue the worker and hand him over to the care of the 118 medical staff.
On site, in addition to the fire brigade teams and medical personnel, also the police and ARPAS officials.
