Region against F2i. The battle for control of the airports continues. With new moves: today the Region has denied the green light to the budget of Sogaer, the company that controls the Cagliari airport. The regional administration abstained together with Sfirs, as had happened a few days ago during the meetings of Geasar (Olbia) and Sogeaal (Alghero) convened to examine the 2022 accounts. The signal is clear: the path identified by the fund investment, which would like to unify the management of the airports of Northern Sardinia and get their hands on the majority package of that of Cagliari, is not shared. And to reiterate this this morning he indicated the new name for the Sogaer Board of Directors: it will be the general secretary of the Region Gabriella Massidda.

The shareholders' meeting of the Cagliari airport management company renewed all the top positions. Confirmed the president Monica Pilloni, the directors Giorgio Delpiano and Giorgio Demurtas. Instead, the managing director changes: in place of Renato Branca there will be Marino Piga, who until now has led Sogaer Security.

In recent days, the councilor for Transport Antonio Moro had pointed the finger at the "so-called integration operations" between the management companies controlled by the investment fund, which "do not recognize and guarantee the Region the role it annually and concretely plays, both in the implementation of infrastructural interventions and in the promotion of air traffic» the Region and Sfirs abstained from the vote, but the accounting documents were in any case approved: Sogaer has a profit of 15 million euros, Geasar reaches 34 million, Sogeaal 5 million even if some values (such as Ebit, i.e. the company's operating income) are negative.
